Food safety training, certification and recertification programs offered through the WRA Education Foundation.

State Certification
ServSafe: Courses for Sanitation Certification
(8:30am - 5:00pm):

This course teaches the food preparation principles restaurant workers need to be aware of to reduce the risk of foodborne illnesses, and fulfills the Wisconsin statutory certification requirement. The WRA EF course is the only course to send out the coursebook to students before the class begins for students to prepare and is the only initial course to provide lunch. The course is available in Spanish and the exam is also offered in Spanish, Chinese, Korean, French Canadian, Japanese and large print. The coursebook is also available in Spanish, Chinese and Korean.

Recertification
ServSafe: Courses for Sanitation Recertification
(8:30am - 12:30pm):

This course is for those individuals whose Wisconsin Restaurant Manager's Sanitation Certification is about to expire or has not been expired for longer than 6 months. The half-day class fulfills the Wisconsin statutory recertification requirement for all foodservice managers. It is also the only course to use the same book as the initial certification course, a $50 value!
