The WRA Education Foundation awards scholarships based on future plans in the foodservice industry, academic records, essays on industry issues and employer or instructor recommendations. Funding for scholarships is provided by the Foundation’s Endowment Fund and the NRA Educational Foundation.
The Foundation annually awards over $40,000 in scholarships to culinary arts and hospitality management students across the state. View the 2009 Winners, recognized at the 2009 Celebration of Excellence.

The WRA Education Foundation offers a Career Mentoring Program for students who have received WRA Education Foundation scholarships. The program matches students with industry leaders who will serve as a coach, teacher, counselor and role model in a professional setting. Mentors will provide students with professional industry feedback and encouragement, offer advice and help the student advance toward any professional career goals.
