2010 Keynote Presenter
Chef Rick Bayless

Star of PBS’s “Mexico: One Plate at a Time” and recent winner of Bravo's "Top Chef Masters"

Rick Bayless, renowned chef, accomplished author, successful business owner and famous television personality, opened the 2010 Expo on Monday, March 8 with an inspirational keynote speech. Bayless discussed the important things he's learned along the way that have helped him build a successful team and company.

Known mostly for his amazing Mexican dishes, Bayless spent a good chunk of his career in Mexico, researching everything he could find out about the cuisine.  The result has been a series of best-selling cookbooks and wildly successful restaurants, including the casual Frontera Grill and the 4-star Topolobampo in Chicago.

Bayless now has his own line of food products that can be found coast-to-coast and is one of the most acclaimed chefs in the country.  Rick has established himself as a TV star with his PBS show "Mexico:  One Plate at a Time", "Iron Chef America" on the Food Network and “Top Chef Masters” on Bravo.

In this year’s keynote address, Bayless shared stories on the intense ambition that helped him rise to the top of his profession. For more information on Rick Bayless, click here for his biography or visit www.rickbayless.com.
