Tips for Use
Locate participating establishments on the Online Dining Guide, then call ahead and mention your WRA gift certificate to the restaurant. Your certificate works just like cash, but restaurants will expect you to use the certificate for at or near the full value upon presentation. And, remember to tip your hardworking server – a 15% gratuity is considered standard.

Tax Benefits
Business gift giving offers tax relief. Client/customer gifts up to $25 are 100% tax deductible (for values over $25, the first $25 is deductible). Gifts given to a company (vs. an individual) are 100% deductible, regardless of the value. Gifts to employees are 100% tax deductible when the value is added to W-2 forms as income.
Volume Discounts Save Money
Get up to 10% savings off the total price for volume purchases! (Add $1 processing per certificate for admin costs.)
2.5% off purchases $1,000 to $4,999 – 5% off purchases $5,000 to $9,999
7.5% off purchases $10,000 to $14,999 – 10% off purchases of $15,000 and up

Treat Certificates as Cash
Make change for WRA Gift Certificates like you normally would for a cash transaction – members are reimbursed the full face value.
Redemption is Quick and Easy
Fill out your restaurant name and address on the certificate, then mail the completed original certificate to WRA. WRA mails a check for the FULL FACE VALUE of the certificate within 10 business days.
Security Measures
While we have never received a complaint about counterfeit gift certificates, we are transitioning to a new (very similar) style to make our certificates even more secure. Please accept BOTH versions of the certificates.
New Version: Designed in black ink on ivory paper, printed on a single side. Paper is light weight and has a watermark pattern. Bears a heat-activated Safeguard Secure Seal – when you hold a finger on the seal, the heat from your finger lightens the images and proves authenticity. Each certificate has a unique identification number.
Original Version: Designed in black ink on ivory paper, printed on both front and back. Paper has a slight weight to it, like cover stock. Certificate bears the WRA seal in 3-D relief. Each certificate has a unique identification number.
Keep Staff Informed
WRA members are automatically enrolled in the program. Don’t forget to tell your staff that your establishment accepts WRA Gift Certificates. Download a Reminder Flyer (PDF) for posting or employee handbooks.
Promote Your Participation
Members that accept WRA Gift Certificates are listed in the online Dining Guide. Be sure to check the guide to ensure accuracy for your location(s). Visit the Members Only section or contact Kim Burns to update your information.
