Make political contributions a line item in your operating statement – after all, politics affects every aspect of your business. Donations to our industry’s political strength-building programs help reinforce WRA’s power in the legislative arena.
LEC is WRA's tool for achieving political success on the local, state and federal levels. Contributions to LEC support public policy education for WRA members, legislators and the public on issues challenging the restaurant industry. Unlike WRA-PAC and the Conduit Fund, where personal funds are given to support candidates, LEC can accept corporate donations.
LEC contributions help to:
- Facilitate personal contact with elected officials in Madison and Washington D.C.
- Inform on pending legislation, public hearings and legislative votes
- Generate grassroots contacts to elected officials
- Educate WRA members about pro-business candidates in their area
- And more!

Contributions to WRA-PAC are combined to create a sizable fund with great impact. Support candidates that work to protect the industry and small businesses.
WRA Conduit helps individuals make contributions at any time to candidates for any local or state office and allows full control over political contributions. The personal funds you set aside always belong to you for distribution to any candidate at any time. Contributions can also be pooled with others’ for greater impact.
