Restaurant Advocacy Fund (RAF)
Contributions to Wisconsin RAF support government affairs and public policy education for WRA members, legislators and the public on issues challenging the restaurant industry:

• Inform the industry on pending legislation, public hearings and legislative votes
• Facilitate personal contact with elected officials in Madison and Washington D.C.
• Educate members on pro-restaurant candidates around the state
• Participate in court actions on behalf of the industry
• And more!

Corporate donations and personal contributions may be allocated to RAF.

Political Action Committee (PAC)
Voluntary personal contributions to the non-partisan WRA-PAC fund help elect state and local candidates with pro-restaurant attitudes and create a positive legislative environment. Contributions to WRA-PAC are combined to create a sizable fund with great impact. PAC accepts only personal contributions: Corporate donations must be allocated to RAF.

WRA Conduit Fund
WRA Conduit allows individuals full control over political contributions. Personal funds are set aside for distribution to any candidate for any local or state office, at any time. Contributions can also be pooled for greater impact.

Event Sponsorships

Restaurant Lobby Day
At Restaurant Lobby Day, your brand gets in front of hundreds of restaurant owners and managers from around the state that put their voices together in the state Capitol for one day, calling legislative attention to the most urgent industry issues.  Contributions support RAF; sponsorships available and recognition levels vary.

WRA Annual Golf Outing
The WRA Annual Golf Outing is a popular event played as a four ball scramble, where four person teams use the best ball on each shot to arrive at one team score.  Sponsors gain recognition in gift bags, holes, meals and/or on event signage.  Contributions support RAF; sponsorship levels range from $200 to $1,500.

WRA Southern Shootout
The WRA Southern Shootout is a sporting clays event where the shooting grounds are laid out in stations representing one type of bird or a combination of game. Sponsorship levels vary, but can include recognition in signage, program or at a single station.  And, all sponsors are entered in a special prize drawing!  Contributions support RAF; sponsorships available from $100 to $2,500.

WRA Fall Shootout
The WRA Fall Shootout is a sporting clays event.  Each station represents a different type of game bird, where clay pigeons are presented to shoot.  Sponsorship participation can vary to include recognition at a single station, dinner program or on all event signage.  Contributions support RAF; sponsorships available from $125 to $1,000.

Restaurant Caucus Dinner
At the Restaurant Caucus Dinner, restaurateurs from around the state sit down with invited legislators that have a personal connection to our industry.  Participants spend a memorable evening of fantastic food and valuable networking with Wisconsin’s legislators.  Contributions support PAC and must originate from individuals.
