Wisconsin Restaurant Statistics

  • Over 15,000 foodservice businesses operate in Wisconsin.

  • The restaurant industry is one of the largest private employers in the state. An estimated 277,400 jobs are provided by eating and drinking places in Wisconsin in 2007.
  • The state is expected to post restaurant sales of $6.5 billion in 2007, a 4.8% increase over 2005.
